First Man Search
Today I am happy to announce First Man Search, a private and ad-free internet search engine for supporters, patrons and sponsors to use.
One thing you may not know about me, after 14 years in the police, I am a huge advocate of privacy. Particularly online where I have seen first hand how our data can be used against us, or for enormous profit. Whilst this may seem daft, considering the amount I share about myself in the videos, the point is that we should have the choice of what to share, rather than have it taken from us during our normal online activities.
So I have built First Man Search using SearXNG. This is a FOSS (free and open source software) metasearch engine, that aggregates the results of other search engines whilst not storing information about its users. Not only does this increase your privacy online, it also means you will not see any ads in your search results. It’s very refreshing where the top answer is actually the top answer.
Supporters, patrons and sponsors are free to use it and play around with it. If you find it useful you can bookmark it or even add it as your default search engine (apart from on Safari where Apple limit your options).

Disclaimer – I do not benefit from this, and just hope you find it to be a useful tool. The system does not log user activity or store identifiable data. It operates with the following principles:
No User Profiles: It does not track or create user profiles based on searches.
No Search History: Searches are processed anonymously and are not saved.
No IP Address Logging: IP addresses are not stored.
No Cookies: It does not use cookies by default.
